SCAS Liquidity Provider Program
At a time when markets feel less predictable and confidence in DeFi is at all-time lows, The need for dependable infrastructure has never been more apparent. While many are choosing to step back, SCAS is taking a different approach: leaning in with a commitment designed to restore trust where it matters most.
Today, SCAS introduces the SCAS Liquidity Provider Program, an initiative that combines rigorous security practices with seed liquidity provision.
As part of the rollout of our new OpSec Audit framework, SCAS will allocate up to $100,000 per audited protocol. By putting our own capital at risk, we align our incentives with the protocols we audit and demonstrate strong confidence in the security and quality of their infrastructure.
Why is this needed right now?
Recent events have reminded the investors once again: systems are only as strong as their weakest link. In an environment where risks can emerge unexpectedly, surface-level assurances are no longer enough.
Traditional audits, often treated as one-time checkpoints, primarily focus on smart contract logic. While necessary, they do not cover continuous security practices.
Operational security, or OpSec, is where most of the recent attacks orginiated. The absence of continuous, holistic security practices can introduce unseen risks, regardless of how polished the codebase appears.
At the same time, the risk-reward balance across DeFi has shifted. When APYs are lower than the risk-free rate and tail risk is unpredictable, more money flows out then in. What remains is a clear demand: stronger guarantees, deeper accountability, and partners willing to stand behind their assessments.
Who is this for?
The program is designed for early-stage teams building in uncertain conditions but understand that trust is earned early and reinforced continuously.
Ideal participants include projects that:
- Have secured initial funding or completed a seed round
- Are preparing to launch and require foundational liquidity
- Value security as a core pillar of long-term growth
While there is a focus on Prediction Markets, Perpetual Exchanges, and Canton (Daml) applications, the program remains open to a broad range of DeFi models.
SCAS supports protocols through flexible liquidity solutions, including:
- Vault liquidity
- Market making for orderbook-based systems
- Customized liquidity structures tailored to protocol needs
Requirements
To ensure a high standard across all participating protocols, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated financial backing or funding
- Completion of a smart contract audit via an SCAS-approved provider (reach out for more information)
- Participation in the SCAS OpSec Audit
SCAS works closely with teams throughout the process, helping to:
- Identify and connect with trusted audit providers
- Secure competitive pricing
- Navigate the audit lifecycle efficiently
- Build a security posture that extends beyond launch
A different kind of commitment
In times of uncertainty, actions speak louder than assurances. By pairing capital with accountability, SCAS aims to help establish a more stable foundation for the next generation of DeFi protocols, where security is not a milestone, but an ongoing standard.
