Huma is a pioneering PayFi network designed to facilitate global payment institutions in settling payments using stablecoins and on-chain liquidity. This application enhances the speed, transparency, and efficiency of financial transactions, addressing the limitations of traditional financial infrastructure. With backing from notable partners like Solana and Circle, Huma has achieved significant milestones, processing over $3.8 billion in transaction volume and providing double-digit yields to liquidity providers. The Huma Protocol is available in two versions: a permissionless option for retail investors and a permissioned service for institutional investors, each catering to different market needs.

A significant aspect of the Pool Owner’role is setting the various parameters of a pool before its launch and updating configurations as necessary when the pool evolves. You can find the complete list of pool parameters in the PoolConfig contract here (a link to the code will be provided upon the publication of the repo). The protocol provides default values for some parameters, but you must supply values for others before enabling the pool.
