Union is a member-owned credit protocol built on Ethereum that allows members to underwrite lines of credit to other member addresses. The protocol operates as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), enabling any address to accumulate a credit line on-chain in a permissionless manner. By aggregating lines of credit, Union members can access capital at lower costs, fostering a cycle of increased lending activity and reduced borrowing expenses. Additionally, Union brings real-world trust on-chain while maintaining user pseudonymity, creating opportunities for new business models with various loan-to-value (LTV) products.
